Portree environmental improvements

Issued: 19 May 2010

Members of the public are being invited to have their say regarding Portree environmental improvements.

The Highland Council's Planning and Development Service has an allocation of £200,000 within its capital programme to be spent over the next two financial years on environmental improvements to the area. Comments are being invited from the local public on how the funds may be spent.

Council Officers will be manning a mobile exhibition unit in Somerled Square, Portree on Tuesday 25 May 2010 from 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm.

Plans will be available to view and there will be exhibits of previous schemes done on show. This is an opportunity for the local public to leave comments on potential improvements.
