Installation of new Great Glen Way monoliths

Work will take place on Monday 28th and Tuesday 29th May to install new monoliths marking the ends of the Great Glen Way long distance route at Inverness Castle and Fort William.

Organised by the "The Great Glen Ways Initiative", the works are part of a £200,000 project to increase and improve public interpretation facilities along the Great Glen.

Ann Hackett, Highland Council's Great Glen Ways Project Officer will be at Inverness Castle on Monday 28th May at 3pm to oversee the replacement / installation of the Inverness Great Glen Way terminus monolith.

Ann will also be at the old fort site in Fort William on Tuesday 29th May at 1pm to see the installation of the Fort William Great Glen Way terminus monolith.
