Industrial Action Suspended

Industrial action has been suspended today regarding changes to transport arrangements at the Corbett Centre, Inverness, a day centre for people with learning difficulties, and the Mackenzie Centre, Inverness, a day centre for older people.

In a joint statement, a Highland Council spokesperson said: "Trade Union members of the T&G have suspended strike action for today (Wed 13th June) and exploratory talks will take place on Friday afternoon following which a further statement will be made. Both sides (Council and Union) have agreed to make no further comment at this time."
