Ceremony to mark Armistice Day in Inverness

A ceremony will take place to mark Remembrance Day in front of Inverness Town House on Thursday 11 November at 11am.

The Provost of Inverness and his fellow Councillors will be joined by staff, members of the Royal British Legion Scotland, children from Lochardil Primary School and crew from HMS Ramsey which will be in port.

Anyone wishing to come along should be in front of the Town House at 10.55am. A Bugler will sound the last post at the 11th hour to start the 2 minutes silence and a piper will play a lament.
