POLICE have received a number of reports from members of the public who have received telephone calls from someone purporting to be from Northern Constabulary. The caller asks questions about property and home security.
The caller is not calling on behalf of Northern Constabulary and Police advise householders to report any such unsolicited telephone calls. They should also dial 1471 and, if possible, obtain the caller's number and report this to their local police.
