Update - Serious Road Traffic Collision, Broadford, Isle of Skye

About 1154 hours on Friday 25 July 2008, a three vehicle serious injury collision occured on the A87 about 2 miles north of Broadford, Isle of Skye. It involved a coach, a campervan and a light goods van. As a result the male driver of the goods van sustained serious injuries and was removed from the scene by air ambulance and conveyed to Raigmore Hospital, Inverness. His condition is described as critical.
Details of the injured are not being released at this time.
Police are appealing for witnesses to this collision and any information should be passed to Road Policing Section, Dingwall, on 01349 869566.
