Police Appeal for Sightings of Missing Person

POLICE are increasingly anxious to trace the whereabouts of missing man David Martin Priddy, missing from the Mallaig area since 17 July 2008. There are concerns for his well being since he is in poor health and is not carrying required medication.

David Priddy from Fife, is 53 years of age though appears younger, is of medium to stocky build, 5'9" - 5'11" with short dark hair and a dark moustache and goatee beard. He is believed to be walking and camping in the Mallaig/Knoydart/Glenfinnan area.

RAF Rescue Team, Lochaber Mountain Rescue Team and the Coastguard have all been assisting Northern Constabulary in the search of a huge area.

Anyone with knowledge of his whereabouts or who has seen him since 17 July is asked to contact Police at Mallaig on 01687 462177 or Fort William on 01397 702361.

Sgt Colin Biddulph said:

"If David is safe and well somewhere, we would appeal that he gets in touch to let us know that he is safe."
