POLICE were called to an address in Alness at around 11.15am this morning by the Scottish Ambulance Service following reports of a death in the Coulpark area.
The body of a female, in her 20s, was found within the house and inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the death are ongoing.
Inquiries are at a very early stage. A post mortem will take place in due course and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
