The Highland Council has been informed that Stagecoach bus drivers based at the Inverness depot, will take industrial action on Thursday (30th October). This was decided at a meeting between Stagecoach management and the trade unions this afternoon.
As a result, this action will impact on the school transport routes delivered by Stagecoach in Inverness and Easter Ross. Stagecoach will provide a definitive list of all school routes affected first thing on Wednesday.
A further update for parents and Head Teachers will be issued when this information is available.
