The musical talents of pupils from Glenurquhart Primary school are set to raise funds for charity thanks to the recording of a Ceilidh CD which was launched today (Tuesday 26 February).
The Primary 3/4 and 4/5 pupils have performed and recorded a selection of traditional Scottish songs and also a Gaelic song onto the CDs which are now on sale at the community library for £5. Proceeds from the sale of the CD will benefit the Macmillan Nurses cancer charity and the Highland Heart Nurse appeal.
The young musicians performed some of the tracks during a launch of the CD at the community library earlier today to an appreciative audience.
