Participation Framework

Tell us your thoughts - sign our guestbook

This participation framework has been developed with the support of children and young people from Women's Aid, CoVass and a local secondary school.

This Participation Framework (hyperlinked to pages below) describes how the voice of children and young people affected by gender based violence can feed in their personal planning, evaluation of the services they receive and in to policy development at local and national level.

This framework is for:

Individual children or young people

Practitioners working with children and young people

Service Providers/managers

Strategy and policy making groups

The National Youth Agency have produced "Hear by Right; Building Standards for the Active Involvement of Children and Young People" which is a good place to begin.
